I am so excited to get into my new season clothes; none of which I’ve bought but the planning is underway. To get you inspired I have selected 12 pieces from Autumn Winter 2018 trends and collections that I think will make up a great capsule wardrobe. There are so many trends to choose from; I’ve been researching plenty of them for Xposé to style up and I can see patterns forming (pun intended).
Animal prints dominate; from midi dresses, to oversize sweaters and the much talked about midi skirt, there are so many choices. If the dress look isn’t for you, check out the ASOS Mid Length coat that I think is a great Autumn Winter 2018 investment. You will also notice a lot of checks; without channeling Cher from Clueless too much, have fun with cardis and co-ords in yellow and pink shades. The mini skirt will always be an AW classic, but this season the midi is having a renaissance. Look at button down styles in plain colours (mainly black) to style with brighter hues and that aforementioned animal print sweater.
