One of my favourite investments are winter skirts; mainly because I also love tights and boots and I need deadly skirts to go with these. Rather than jeans, I love skirts more at this time of year. One look you will have seen lots of over in my Instagram is the oversize knit, layered over mini skirt with some over the knee suede boots or leather ankle boots. It just means that you can maximise wear of any jumpers you may have bought.
If you want to know how to style winter skirts let me suggest that you get an a-line mini, a printed midi and maybe one other like a black denim. You can layer a cream or neutral tone knit over any of these (Penneys have some great ones) to get a street style inspired look that is totally practical and comfortable, but very stylish. As well as the skirt, get yourself some good opaques – Falke, M&S and Wolford are the best ones I have to say, you just need to mind them so they last. But under the €10 mark, Topshop and Penneys are equally as great.
