Well aside from the usual business here at styleisle HQ, there has been some new additions to my life as well as some news!
SWAROVSKI POWER
I am so thrilled to be teaming up with Swarovksi to celebrate all things poweful with the launch of their latest piece the Power Bracelet. You might have seen this on my Instagram stories over the past few days BUT! I will be at the Swarovski store on Grafton Street, Dublin tomorrow, 27th July to share some of my favourite pieces on my Insta Stories!
LA MER POP IN DUBLIN
I am obsessed with La Mer, and if you are a fan too, then pop along to their pop up shop in Dublin today and tomorrow to have a full experience of the brand. Have your skin matched to the perfect moisturiser, try out their incredible foundation and even check out the miracle broth bar. All the info and location is here in on the La Mer Pop Shop site.
THE MUST HAVE BLOUSE!
I bought myself the most amazing River Island blouse last week that I think, not only looks way more expensive than its €45, but is cut so well it can only provide good things! The puff sleeve, being a big trend hanging around for AW19, this piece, to me, will stand the test of time. Bag it now – here is the link to shop!
TOO FACED PALETTE THAT I LOVE
All this week I have been trying out some new products and I hope you are liking my IGTVs! I wanted to focus on using the same products lots of different ways so you can make the most out of the palettes you have. One great one that I recently got my hands on is the Sweet Peach palette from Too Faced (it’s available in Arnotts) for face and body. There are so many tones catered for, and I love the peach blush. Buff on with a blush brush!
DIET PRADA
I have been an avid follower of Diet Prada on Instagram since they started. Not only an authority in fashion, but the duo behind the account are responsible for exposing some fairly controversial behaviour in the industry. This week all eyes have been on the report of inappropriate behaviour of two photographers, Marcus Hyde and Timor Emek, favoured by Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande, towards models on instagram and on shoots. I could not believe what I read, with models sharing their horrific experiences with these two so-called professionals. It disgusts me that this kind of thing goes on and that models, both inexperienced and more mature can be treated in such a way.
BORIS
URGH, doesn’t even warrant a mention.
