Ah it’s that time, gift guides! Starting with one of my favourites, luxe beauty gifts! Oh I do love a gorgeous beauty gift. And if you are a make up lover, I think you might want to add some of these to your wish list. One new brand you may not have heard of, is Westman Atelier. Set up by renowned make up artist, Gucci Westman, the pigments in each product feel divine with incredible staying power too. One item I am longing for is something from Victoria Beckham Beauty, and to start, an eyeshadow is a lovely stocking filler. This wet-finish pigment does not need anything other than a flash of mascara and you will be party ready. My tip with darker shades like this to simply apply with your index finger initially, and blend with a large blending brush. Speaking of brushes, I am a huge Zoeva fan, and the Christmas gift sets have ever brush for the discerning makeup fan. A statement red lip is a glamorous addition to any Christmas outfit, and I have always had a soft spot for Louboutin Beauty’s Lip Colour and that impeccable shine. Not only that, the packaging is sublime. Lux beauty gifts blog posts are not without an advent calendar! Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic calendar contains everything from make up to skincare and every time I see it, I think how wonderful a gift it is. YSL Beauty, the champions of makeup, always serve up something wonderful for Christmas. There are so many ideas, but I think any eye palettes will bring smiles on Christmas Day. These last for a long time, I can testify. With a great balance of neutral and richer tones, there are options for every occasion. Lastly, fragrance. It’s actually a tough thing to buy for someone since scents are so personal. One of the loveliest, and freshest scents I’ve tried this year is Chloe’s Rose Tangerine. It brings back memories of holidays (I think we all like to think of those right now). If you like subtle sweetness, you will love this.
